Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 largeonion (chopped or sliced)
  2. 1garlic clove (finely chopped)
  3. 250 gramscabbage (I used British savoy)
  4. 2 tbspextra virgin olive oil
  5. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  6. 1/2 tspSalt
  7. 1/2 tsphot chilli powder
  8. 1 tspWorcestershire sauce
  9. 50 gramschorizo
  10. 1chicken oxo cube
  11. 50 mlhot boiling water
  12. 25 mlwhite wine

  1. 1

    heat the olive oil in a large pan or wok.

  2. 2

    add the onion and garlic and fry for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned.

    reduce the heat to medium and add the cabbage. I also added extra olive oil here

    season with salt, black pepper and hot chilli powder.

    add the chorizo

  6. 6

    fry for 10-15 minute or until its cooked, stirring often

  7. 7

    Heat the water and dissolve the cube.

  8. 8

    add the water and wine to cabbage and cook for a further 5 or so minutes

  9. 9

    leave to rest for a few minutes and serve.
