Ingredients

  1. 1medium red onion, very thinly sliced
  2. 1/2 cupwater
  3. 1/4 cupdistilled vinegar
  4. 1 1/2 tablespoonsmaple syrup or honey
  5. 1 1/2 teaspoonsfine sea sal
  6. 1/4 teaspoonRed pepper flakes - optional for a little kick

Cooking Instructions

    Bring ingredients to a simmer. Pack mason jar with onions, pour brine over onions and seal, fridge. Ready. 30 to 45 min
