Cooking Instructions
- 1
First, warm 1/2 cup of milk. Just warm it, not too hot, or it will kill the yeast. Pour the milk into a cup or bowl, add 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of yeast. Stir well to dissolve, then let the yeast rest for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- 2
If the yeast is active, you will see a layer of foam on the surface. Start kneading the dough by adding 1 2/3 cups of all-purpose flour into a bowl, then add salt, vanilla sugar, and the milk-yeast mixture. Knead the dough for 5 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- 3
After 1 hour, the dough should have risen. Take it out and knead briefly, then divide the dough into equal portions and shape into balls. Roll the dough balls in sesame seeds to coat both sides evenly. Roll the dough out thin.
- 4
Heat oil in a pan. Wait until the oil is hot and bubbles form around a chopstick. Fry the bread, pressing down with chopsticks to help it puff up. Turn the bread over to ensure both sides are evenly golden.
- 5
Once the bread is fried, remove it and enjoy with your family 🥰🥰

So Friday I had the sudden urge to bake homemade bread. Since I’ve never made homemade bread, I wanted to find a simplerecipe. Thanks to Pinterest, I found this simple artisan bread recipe. Let me tell you guys, I was excited like a kid at Christmas, when this bread turned out. Recipe worth trying! Thanks to whoever shared the recipe on Pinterest!A few things to note: I had my oven set to 400 degrees, due to living in high altitude. Your pot needs to create an oven within and oven; I used a dutch oven. Kristina.Stephens -

Fried Bread Fried Bread
This is a recipe for fried bread that is used to make Indian Tacos. This is a yeast version. I revised a recipe that my mother-in-law gave me into easy to make measurements.-The moisture of the dough may vary depending on the type of flour used and the humidity, so adjust accordingly.-The dough should be just a little bit softer than your earlobe.-I used the rapid rise type of yeast that can be used instantly after mixed with the flour.
