Spinach Tossed with Tuna and Sesame

This dish is apparently served at school lunches, so I modified this for serving at home.

Adjust the amount of seasoning according to the amount of spinach.
I recommend using raw ginger for the grated ginger. Since we have kids, I only use a little. Feel free to use a large can of tuna. Adjust the seasonings to taste. Recipe by Akkorin mama

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 bunchSpinach
  2. 1 smallcan Canned tuna
  3. 1generous amount ● Sesame seeds
  4. 2 tbspSoy sauce
  5. 1and 1/2 tablespoons ● Sugar
  6. 1/2thumbs' worth ● Grated ginger (tubed)

Cooking Instructions

    Boil water in a pot. Cut the spinach leaves in half. Parboil the stalks, then the leaves for 1 to 2 minutes.

    Squeeze excess water from the spinach, then chop into 2-3 cm lengths. Gently drain the liquid from the canned tuna, then combine the spinach and tuna in a bowl.
