When my son was finishing baby food, I wanted to think of a good sesame sauce recipe that would please his appetite, even though he usually favors vinegar sauce.

Also good with komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach).
You can add boiled shimeji mushrooms or carrots and make it more filling. Recipe by Saradaaaa

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 bunchSpinach
  2. 1 canCanned tuna
  3. 2 tbspplus ★ Ground sesame seeds
  4. 1 tbsp★ Beet sugar (or regular sugar)
  5. 1 tbspVinegar
  6. 2 tspSoy sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Drain the oil or soup from the tuna and flake it. Usually, I use Yushuna-san's oil draining method for canned tuna while I do other house chores.

  2. 2

Rinse the spinach thoroughly and boil, then chop into bite-sizes. The roots are the most nutritious, so let's cut them into small pieces and use them.

  3. 3

Combine ★ ingredients. Add the tuna and spinach, mix together, and serve.
