Chinese and Italian flavors merge in this umami rich easy dinner. After a long afternoon of medical visits, collapsing at home with a quick, flavorful dinner was a welcome end to the day.

Ingredients

20 minutes
6 slices
  1. 1frozen Costco cheese pizza
  2. 2 tbspPixian doubanjiang
  3. 1 cananchovies
  4. 1 tbspeach coarsely grated mozzarella, romano, and parmigiana cheese
  5. 6sungold cherry tomatoes
  6. 6medium leaves fresh basil

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 425º

  2. 2

    Add the cheeses to the top of the pie.

  3. 3

    Drizzle the doubanjiang over the pizza.

  4. 4

    Place 2 or 3 anchovies strategically on the pie.

  5. 5

    Slice the tomatoes in half, add to the pie face down.

  6. 6

    Bake in oven for 15 minutes

  7. 7

    Remove from oven, add chopped basil.

  8. 8

    Put back in oven for 1-2 minutes.

  9. 9

    Serve immediately.
