Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add the egg, milk and melted butter (it should be cool before using or you can use soft butter) or oil in a bowl and whisk. Add sugar and salt, then the baking powder and semovita. Whisk together until they combine completely. Refrigerate for 15-30 minutes.
- 2
Heat some oil or butter in a pan and pour batter enough to spread across the frying pan. Flip to the other side when bubbles appear (just like pancakes). Repeat until all batter is finished
- 3
Done. It can be eaten with a sauce (just like I did) or with something sweet like ice cream or syrup. Enjoy 😋

I've always loved crepes and often made it without giving much thought to the ratio of ingredients, but this time, I measured them out well. Because these crepes are so simple and yet easy to handle, I decided to post the recipe here!Take care to strain the batter to remove lumps - this really makes a difference. There's no need to grease the pan if it's a non-stick frying pan. Make sure to heat the frying pan well. It's a simple taste, so you could make a meal with it for sure. Easy Sunday morning crepes Easy Sunday morning crepes
A big Sunday morning breakfast is a tradition in our house and so today we went with crepes to eat with some fancy types of honey that the girlfriend got as a gift. Prone to overdoing things as I am, we wound up with DIY "crepe station" complete with caramelized apples, Nutella, sea salt, raisins, and who knows what else. Usual disclaimer: this is a found recipe for which I've given the full quantities even though I only made a 1/2 batch. Jon -
