Smoothie boost for good mornings

Bananas last in the freezer forever, and not just for banana bread: I freeze slightly overripe bananas and blend them in this fav smoothie.
Tip: If you have a food processor, make a batch of minced ginger to last months by adding handfuls of the fresh root (no need to peel, promise!) with a squeeze of lemon, and store what you won’t use in a week on parchment paper in an airtight container in your freezer.

Green Smoothie for Breakfast Green Smoothie for Breakfast
I heard that it's really good for your health to have just fruit for breakfast, but I though to add in vegetables which are also so good for you and came up with this smoothie that is really easy to drink. This recipe produces a large amount, so you'll feel full until lunchtime if you have this for breakfast. If it's too thick to drink, add some more water. If you'd like it a bit sweeter, add some honey. For kids, it's easier to drink if you reduce the amount of spinach and increase the amount of banana. So, I'm not a great fan of green smoothies, but I know how good they are for you. I've tried a couple of different combinations and absolutely hated them. This morning I decided, since I love spinach, to try a smoothie with spinach. To my great surprise, it wasn't half bad, I actually liked it, and I hope you will too. Allison Candelora -

Super Energizing Smoothie Super Energizing Smoothie
For a big boost of energy, try starting with this smoothie. It’s loaded with healthy fruits like watermelon, which helps dilate blood vessels to promote blood flow. Also, it has coconut water which hydrates and reduces blood pressure. I get two 16oz servings when I fill my blender to top. (You can save leftovers if you make too much at once!) Brittany M
