Smoothie boost for good mornings

Bananas last in the freezer forever, and not just for banana bread: I freeze slightly overripe bananas and blend them in this fav smoothie.

Tip: If you have a food processor, make a batch of minced ginger to last months by adding handfuls of the fresh root (no need to peel, promise!) with a squeeze of lemon, and store what you won’t use in a week on parchment paper in an airtight container in your freezer.
