Banana 🍌 and walnut loaf

I love banana bread and I’ve been trying to hunt for the best banana bread; alas I have not been able to be satisfied, hence I made my own!

I usually double this recipe, making 1 loaf and 1 batch of muffins. The recipe is very versatile. You can add more banana if you'd like to increase the banana flavor. I have also made it with add-ins (choc. chips, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts). Stir in after flour.

This recipe is special because when my grandma was alive, we would always ask her to make it, and we would purposely let the bananas ripen so she could make her famous bread. Now, maybe because of the season, I was craving her bread so much that I called my mom to get the recipe. I made it to honor and remember my grandma 💕.
