  1. White rice
  2. Bademjoon = eggplant / aubergine
  3. Gheyme
  4. 1/2 cupSplit pea
  5. 3 slicesdried lemon
  6. 1 spoonTomato paste
  7. 300 grminced meat
  8. 1onion
  9. 8 spoonsLamb fat oil
  10. 3 cupsWater
  11. Spices
  12. 1 pinchcardamom powder
  13. 1 pinchbay leave powder
  14. 1 tspcinnamon powder
  15. 1/2 tspginger powder
  16. 1 tspTurmeric powder
  17. 1 tspSalt
  18. 1/3 tspPepper powder
  19. Clovespowder 1/2 tsp
  20. 1/4 tspSaffron
  21. 1/2 tspdried damask rose powder

Cooking Instructions

3 hours
  1. 1

    Boil split pea for 2 hours.

  2. 2

    Make meatballs with minced meat and salt.

  3. 3

    Grate onion, pan fry until turns golden.

  4. 4

    Add spices and tomato paste, fry for a minute

  5. 5

    Add meatballs and onion sauce into the split pea pot.

  6. 6

    Boil for an hour.

  7. 7

    Pan fry eggplants separately.

  8. 8

    10 minutes before serving, add lemon slices and fried eggplants.

  9. 9

    Cook rice separately.
