Cooking Instructions

Wash and soak moong dal in enough water for 4 hours

After 4 hrs drain water from dal using a strainer and keep in a strainer to drain excess water for 30 minutes

Add drained dal into a blender and grind to make a smooth paste

Dont add water while making dal paste

Heat up a pan on low to medium heat. now add ghee and dal paste and cook till dal gets nice golden colour and ghee starts to leave from dal

Add hot milk and dry fruits stir and cook for 3 minutes
- 7
Now add sugar, and saffron water mix it, and just cook for 2-3 minutes

Finally, add cardamom powder mix it and garnish with some dry fruits or raisins

Moong dal halwa is now ready to Serve
