Cooking Instructions

Mix all the dry ingredients

Add egg and flavor (I used butter scotch flavor bcox is my favorite flavor I really like it's scent)
Add water and mix - 3
Mix and knead everything together
Add butter and give it a good knead
NOTE: When you add butter the dough will be steaky and break into pieces... DO NOT ADD FLOUR
Keep kneading the dough will get back together and it will be soft - 4
You will knead for 30mins with hands (set your timer ⏲️)
If you er mixing with machine you will only mix for 12-15mins
To get a soft and fluffy doughTake your rolling pin spread out some flour

Cut the dough and roll out
Don't roll the dough too thin
Let it be thick - 6
Cut it with donut cutter or into any shape of your choice
Spread flour on the surface dat you will keep the donut and let it rise (to avoid damaging the donut while it rised) - 7
Cover the donut and let it rise for 2-3Hrs at room temperature
Get your pan with some oil
Heat your pan at low heat to get a ring line on your donuts - 8
Fry and enjoy 😋😋😋😉

If the oil temperature is too low, the color will be good by the donuts will be greasy, if the temperature is too high they'll cook too much and become hard. It's hard to get the temperature right. I took the best ingredient ratios, mixing then adding to pan, then coating, from several recipes.Try to use new oil to fry these!You can substitute the egg with milk, but they will begin hardening the next day.If the dough contains too much moisture, it will evaporate when fried and they will wither when taken out of the oil.
