Cajun-Inspired Shrimp & Sausage Cajun-Inspired Shrimp & Sausage
We love to eat this smoky, spicy shrimp and sausage with head-on, peel and eat shrimp because we're big on headfat and all the extra flavor you get from cooking the shrimp in its shell. But I get that not everyone is up to their food looking back at them, or having to work so hard to get to it, so if you end up going the peeled, beheaded and deveined route, you can reduce the amount of shrimp by half a pound or so.Or don't.Because this stuff is really tasty, and you'll probably end up eating it all at some point anyways. :) x -
Fudgy Chocolate Cake with Salted Caramel & Maple Bacon Fudgy Chocolate Cake with Salted Caramel & Maple Bacon
A nod to Nadia G for this combination. I used Carnation caramel from a tin, but if you can't get that, take a tin of condensed milk and put in a saucepan half filled with water ( you mustn't let it dry out or it will explode!) Simmer it for two hours. Let cool completely. Celeste -

Chocolate is usually my preferred cake flavor. But THIS cake? Oh. My. GOODNESS. I’ve made it at least three times over the last few years. If you’re a citrus or lemon fan, you need to make this cake at least once. Then try your darnedest not to eat the whole thing by yourself. Best to make it for a crowd and share the lemony love! 💕This was my birthday cake this year (Yup - I made my own cake! 🤣)#Dessert #Special #Celebration #Birthday #Citrus Chris Gan -

Caramel Cream Caramel Cream
I always make this whenever I have leftover cream. When adding the heavy cream in Step 4, it may boil over, so please take extra care during this step.If you use low-fat heavy cream, it will separate! It will harden when chilled, so put it into a heatproof bowl and warm it up a bit in the microwave to soften. Autumn-Coloured Macarons Chestnut & Chocolate Autumn-Coloured Macarons Chestnut & Chocolate
I thought of this recipe because I like the combination of chocolate and chestnuts.I love the sound of the word "maracon" and their round cuteness but they do take a lot of effort to perfect. I'm aiming for Pierre Hermé's macarons but I'm not quite there yet.Make sure to properly dry the macarons out at room temperature and to turn down the temperature of the oven when baking. This time I turned the temperature down too late and the texture became a little rough. Recipe by nanacco cookpad.japan
