  3. 6-8green cardamom pods
  4. 5-6 tablespoonsghee

  1. 1

Peel and grate the carrots thoroughly. Then, boil the milk over low heat. Cook the carrots and milk on low heat. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes on low heat. You can do other kitchen tasks in the meantime.

  2. 2

When the milk thickens and the carrots shrink, add sugar and cook the halwa until it turns a deep red color. Once well-cooked, mix in cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits.

  3. 3

In a small pan, add ghee and roast the cashews and raisins, then add them to the halwa and stir until all the milk is absorbed. Once cooled, shape the halwa using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.

  4. 4

Our carrot halwa is ready. I shaped it using a cookie cutter and garnished it with nuts. Serve warm or cold.
