Lasagna Noodles in a Bread Machine

Lasagna noodles can be costly... Why not make them from scratch?

The dough is very elastic, so let it rest for at least 1 hour. Roll it out to about 1 mm thickness. It will get thicker when you boil it, so roll it out as thin as possible. You can cut it into thin strips to make pasta. For 8 sheets. Recipe by Maitomono mama

Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 100 gramsBread (strong) flour
  2. 100 gramsSemolina flour
  3. (If you don't have semolina flour, use 200 g of bread flour)
  4. 2 largeeggs + water = 120 grams Egg + water

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Add all the ingredients into a bread machine. Select the pasta setting and knead it into dough. If it does not have the pasta setting, knead it for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

Form the dough into a ball and wrap it with plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  3. 3

Take it out of the refrigerator, divide it into 4 equal pieces, dust the dough with flour (not listed), and roll it out to a 1 mm thickness. Roll out all 4 pieces of dough.

  4. 4

Cut the dough into the size of the dish and it is done. I made a total of 8 sheets.

  5. 5

Boil the lasagna noodles one piece at a time about 4-5 minutes each and it is done.

  6. 6

The photo shown here is a lasagna with white sauce, the noodles, and meat sauce layers.
