Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the rutabaga in half and peel it. Cutting it with the peeling and wax on it allows a more stable event. It is a hard root vegetable to cut in it's raw state. If you peel it first it becomes slippery. Cut the rutabaga into bite sized cubes. In a pot or instapot, add all the ingredients, sauté the rutabaga and kale. The kale will wilt.
- 2
When wilted put a lid on the pot and pressure cook on low pressure for 10 minutes. In a pot on the stovetop cook covered for 25 minutes. Serve adjust salt to taste. I hope you enjoy!!!

Rutabaga Rutabaga
I would cook these more often but I don't like canned and the fresh are hard to cut and you can't always find them. The taste is awesome. It's worth the trouble of hunting them down and working with them. The rutabaga are hard to cut so be very careful when doing so. I actually bought a special knife for this root vegetable, and whole cabbages. skunkmonkey101 -

Pork Stew with Rutabaga Pork Stew with Rutabaga
I created this for dinner last night and the husband says it's a keeper. The rich stew goes well with a side of rice. I think this tastes even better the next day, after the rutabaga has had a chance to mellow. If you make it let me know! I love to hear what you think about my recipes! Adam Janowski
