Stir-Fried Daikon Radish & Tuna Stir-Fried Daikon Radish & Tuna
This is the season for delicious daikon radish, so I wondered if I could make something delicious that wasn't the normal simmered dish. The sweetness of the daikon with the delicious tuna flavor, cooked in sesame oil, was the perfect combination. This is great as a dish served with rice, but it's also perfect to eat with alcohol. The part of the daikon radish closest to the stem is sweeter and will become more tender. The tail end is more bitter and has more texture. You can use whichever end you want. You can also have fun with it by topping with bonito flakes or shichimi spice. I thought of this recipe to consume the daikon radish we harvested from our vegetable garden.Water will seep out of the daikon once the ingredients are added, so make this just before serving.I think it's better if you add enough wasabi to taste the bite. Make sure not to add too much soy sauce. ♪ Recipe by Kohatenhaha cookpad.japan -
Easy Daikon Radish & Kumquat Tuna Salad Easy Daikon Radish & Kumquat Tuna Salad
I wanted to make something delicious from kumquats, so I made them into a salad.Microwaving the kumquats in the sugar and vinegar gives them an even more pronounced sweet-sour flavour and softer skins, making them easier to chew.Because tuna is quite salty, I didn't use a lot of mayonnaise, but you can add more to taste. I came up with this because I wanted to eat a healthy salad containing daikon radish.Mind you don't add too much salt to the daikon radish and cucumber. Adjust the taste with the ponzu. It's nice with a touch of sesame oil added too I used canned tuna in brine this time, but tuna in oil is also fine. Recipe by Mitsuko nesan cookpad.japan -
