Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 1 piecechicken thigh
  2. 1onion
  3. 1 cmgarlic (from tube)
  4. 10 gbutter
  5. 3/4 cupwater (200ml)
  6. 1 can (14 oz)diced tomatoes (400g)
  7. 2 tablespoonsketchup
  8. 1 tablespoongrated Parmesan cheese
  9. 1 teaspoonsugar
  10. 1 teaspoongranulated bouillon
  11. 2/3 cupmilk (150ml)
  12. About 1 oz (25g) store-bought curry roux, adjust to taste
  13. 10 gbutter

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle with salt, and place skin-side down in a frying pan to cook until crispy. Once both sides are crispy, remove from the pan.

    In the same pan, add 10g butter, 1 cm of garlic from the tube, and sliced onion. Sauté until the onion is soft.

    Return the chicken to the pan, add the ingredients marked with ●, and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.

    After 30 minutes of simmering, it should look like this.

    Once the liquid has reduced, add 2/3 cup milk, curry roux, and 10g butter, and simmer for another 10 minutes to finish.

    Even though you're using roux, the color is a nice orange!*

    The topping is not heavy cream but a small amount of coffee creamer.
