Turkish Lentil Soup Turkish Lentil Soup
When I was in Turkey, you could get this soup anywhere – to the point where you would get sick of it! But now that I'm back in Japan, I miss it. I made several attempts until I settled on this.Adjust the ingredients, thickness, and amount of salt to taste. The way every person likes this soup is different - just like how people in Japan like their miso soup prepared in different ways! (Adding about 1 tablespoon of tomato paste after sautéing the onions is also delicious.) Also, you can omit using a blender in Step 5, and enjoy the rough texture. It's easy! My favorite Chinese Restaurant in San Francisco gave me this soup recipe a long time ago, verbally, this is how I have been making hot and sour soup since. I substituted silken egg tofu for firm tofu and chicken livers for chicken meat. The silken egg tofu makes the soup even smoother. If you like less spicy, cut the mala chili paste in half. Taiwanese-Style Soy Milk Soup for Breakfast (Xian Dou Jiang) Taiwanese-Style Soy Milk Soup for Breakfast (Xian Dou Jiang)
There's a famous restaurant in Taipei, "Fu Hang Dou Jiang," which is so popular that there's a large line outside of it even in the morning. Their soy milk breakfast is delicious so I wanted to make it at home. I seasoned it with Japanese dashi so that my husband and kids would like it. I also added tofu to make it more filling. You can also use Weipa instead of shiro-dashi to give it a Chinese flavor...If you are using thick soy milk, it'll tend to burn in the pot or make a film on the surface easily. It's better to add a little bit of water to thin it out. For 2 servings. Recipe by kiwicafe cookpad.japan -

I love potage, and I end up consuming a lot of spinach with this potage soup. It's a good idea to separate stems and leaves of the spinach ahead of time.If it's spring time, you can use sweet onions. They add sweetness to the soup and it is delicious.○I had parsley, so I sprinkled it on top.Adding grated cheese at the end makes the soup richly-flavored and delicious.
