  1. 1 kgyam
  2. vegetable oil
  3. 2Maggi cube
  4. to tastesalt
  5. 1medium bulb onion (finely minced)
  6. 3medium pepper (blended)
  7. 2eggs (beaten)
  8. 2-3 tablespoonplain flour

    Peel and cut yam into desire shapes put in a clean bowl.. add water and wash..

    Put yam in a clean pot,add water and cook on fire (cook till it get soft)

    Mash or blend cooked yam till its very soft to avoid lumps..

    Put you mash or blended yam in a bowl, pour in your salt, pepper, onion, Maggi and egg.. mix very well to avoid lumps..

    Make sure the texture of the mixture is not too hard or soft.. in case it turns out too soft, add some flour to thicken..

    Sprinkle flour on a chopping board scoop out yam mixture.. roll on board to form balls..

    Put oil in a frying pan and heat on fire, put the yam balls into the oil and fry.. yam ball is ready if it has a golden brown colour

    Yummy yam ball is ready.. it's be served with any sauce of your choice..
