Chocolate Avocado Pie

Ingredients

30 minutes
1 8" pie
  1. For the crust
  2. 6Medjool dates
  3. 1 tbground flax seed
  4. 2 tbwater
  5. 150 grground walnuts
  6. 2 tbunsweetened coco powder
  7. 3 tbmelted coconut oil
  8. For the filling
  9. 2 cupsdark chocolate chips (70%)
  10. 3firm-ripe avocados, peeled and pitted

Cooking Instructions

    In a blender mix together all the crust ingredients.

    Push it on the bottom of a 8" pie pan. Bake it on 325F for 15 minutes. Let it cool.

    Peel the avocados, discard the pit.

  4. 4

    Melt the chocolate, let it cool a bit. Place the melted chocolate, the avocados in a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides of the blender as needed.

    Spoon into the prepared shell, smooth the top off and refrigerate for couple of hours. Can be prepared 1 day in advance. Garnish with strawberries.
