I recently purchased a canister of protein puffs. I am a big fan of protein bars. Making your own protein bars can be tricky. I like to use IMO pre_biotic fiber it holds the bars together nice adds fiber to your diet and doesn't lend much to the calorie count. I purchased the puffs from amazon they are made by promix nutrition, IMO comes in powder or syrup form, I also used an unflavored protein powder from Genepro. I would also recommend a silicone bar mold. I made 3 small bars

This looks delicious! Have you ever tried to make something more similar to a 'scotcheroo' or 'peanut butter rice krispy treat with chocolate layer on top'...I had those as a kid all the time and would love to create a healthy-ish knock-off with these promix protein puffs. Any tips/suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
