Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupbutter or margarine
  2. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  3. 6 tbspall-purpose flour
  4. 1 lbwhole grain elbow macaroni
  5. 16 ozvelveeta cheese with 2%milk
  6. 4 cup2% milk

Cooking Instructions

    cook elbow macaroni for 9 minutes.

    drain, cover and set aside

  3. 3

    in saucepan, melt margarine or butter, blend flour, salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    cook until mixture is smooth and bubbly; gradually add milk.

  5. 5

    cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils; simmer 1 minute, stirring constantly.

    gradually mix in cheese. stir over low heat until cheese is melted.

  7. 7

    add pasta; mix together lightly. pour into 2-quart casserole dish.

    bake 25 minutes.
