Ingredients

20 mins
2 servings
  1. 10 slicebacon

Cooking Instructions

20 mins
  1. 1

    preheat oven to 400°F

  2. 2

select a larger coffee mug and stuff as much tinfoil as you can in it until it is full and level with top of cup

  3. 3

carefully remove tinfoil, attempting to keep the shape of the cup. wrap a piece of tinfoil around, fold edges together and fold over top to create a flat surface

  4. 4

place 2 slices of bacon over mold crossing eachother. weave remaining 3 slices around the sides. * make sure to wrap tight

  5. 5

wrap whole thing with one remaining piece of tinfoil, fold edges and create cone on top to allow steam to vent (also so you can easily peak in at bacon to see when cooked)

  6. 6

repeat steps 2-5 and place both bacon "packages" in a baking pan with high edges to capture grease

  7. 7

bake for approx. 1 hour or until bacon looks golden brown and crispy. All ovens vary in cooking time so after 45 mins have passed periodically "peak" through vent. remove from oven and let cool before carefully removing outer tinfoil and inner mold

  8. 8

fill with whatever your bacon loving heart desires, in my case would be with potato salad :) ENJOY

I've made these out of a muffin pan and they turned out too small. This is a perfect idea and size! :-)
