Ham and bacon cheese ball

Growing up it seemed like all the store bought "cheese balls" only had the good stuff on the outside. Me amd my mom played around with different ingredients and came up with this! The longer it sits and the flavors mix the better it tastes! It has been my go to recipe for parties since I became an adult, I always have people asking for the recipe. It's so easy and you can add more or less of the ingredients, you just can't go wrong!

Ingredients

15 mins
10 servings
  1. 1 packagescream cheese
  2. 1/2 cupham
  3. 1/4 cupHormel bacon pieces
  4. 1/4 bunchgreen onions
  5. 1/2 cupchopped pecans
  6. 1/2 cupcheddar cheese
  7. 1/4 cupmilk

Cooking Instructions

15 mins
  1. 1

Set cream cheese out and let it reach room temperature.

  2. 2

Use chopper to chop ham, pecans, bacon pieces, green onion and cheddar cheese

  3. 3

Put cream cheese in bowl, if it hasn't warmed enough to smash easily put in microwave for about 30 seconds. Put all chopped ingredients in bowl with cream cheese and fold into cream cheese. Add milk to allow mixture to be softer and easier to dip when chilled. (Add more or less of any ingredients to your personal taste preference... I have found a bit of garlic powder gives it a bolder taste, but I don't always use it)

  4. 4

Once you have mixed all ingredients well cover and place in refrigerator for at least an hour to chill (I can't always wait the full hour lol) enjoy with favorite crackers, I use Ritz Wheat Crackers.
