Ingredients

  1. 1/2 packagesthick cut bacon ( regular is fine also )
  2. 1 packagesfrozen Brussel sprouts in butter sauce
  3. 3 tbspbacon grease ( pan dripping from after bacon renders )
  4. salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cook bacon and set aside to drain on paper towel. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the rendered fat.

  2. 2

Slightly thaw Brussel sprouts but not enough to thaw butter sauce. Makes it easier to get all the yummy sauce out this way.

  3. 3

Heat the bacon grease to medium heat in skillet or electric skillet.

  4. 4

Add brussel sprouts and butter sauce to heated pan.

  5. 5

Stir every few minutes to evenly coat the sprouts.

  6. 6

Cook until tender and season with salt and pepper if using.

  7. 7

Crumble bacon and toss with cooked sprouts.

  8. 8

You can also toss all ingredients before cooking in a bowl and cook in oven instead of sautéing them. Just add crumbled bacon after cooked to prevent sogginess.
