I freeze my fruit instead of using ice like some do...makes for a creamier delicious smoothie! Summertime favorite, and my son prefers this to ice cream. ~(o.o)~

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1/2 cupVanilla Yogurt (or flavor of your choice)
  2. 1 cupFrozen Fruit or Berries
  3. 1/4 cupApple Juice (or flavor of your choice)
  4. 1 tspFlax Seed (optional)
  5. 1Whip Cream (optional)
  6. 1Mint Leaves (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add all ingredients to blender or smoothie maker and blend well.

  2. 2

    Pour into glasses add dollop of whip cream and sprig of mint if desired, sip through straw.

  3. 3

    You can also freeze these into popsicles for the kids, and you :) they're are healthy, refreshing treat!
