Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 lbbeef stew meat
  2. 3 tbspAll purpose flour
  3. 2 packagesfrozen veggies for stew
  4. 1 candiced tomatoes undrained
  5. 2 can10 oz each condensed beef consomme
  6. 1 tbspsugar
  7. 1 dashpepper
  8. 2dry Bay leaves

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    heat oven to 325°f . 13x9 glass baking dish.

  2. 2

    toss beef in flour and frozen veggies.

  3. 3

    in a large bowl mix all remaining ingredients. pour over the beef and veggies. stir until mixed

  4. 4

    cover and bake for 3 1/2 hours. or until beef is tender.

  5. 5

    remove Bay leaves before serving

  6. 6

    Eat and enjoy ♡

    It’s funny... I made some chili last week. As I was thinking in my head, “What the hell goes in chili”? I started saying, “Wait, no. This is sounding like a beef stew”. So... I decided to make a beef stew now. It’s cold now and these dishes warm the soul. I never appreciated beef stew when I was younger. But I realize how fine of a dish it is in my older age haha.
