To make Bahutra:

Take maida flour in a mixing bowl...add rava to it...baking powder salt and combine well...add yoghurt and mix well. Knead to smooth dough.

Cover it with samp cloth and allow to rest for 3-4 hrs. Afer the resting time, u can see the dough is more soft, moist and slightly rised.

Apply lill maida flour(to avoid sticking) to hands and knead well. Divide the dough to equal sized balls. Rool it to big sized puri, heat oil and gently drop the puri in hot oil..w8 till it puffs up and flip it to other sides..deep fry untill it turns golden and crisp.

To make Chole:

Heat oil in a cooker and add cumin, cinnamon and bay leaf..saute till it crackles..add finelly chopped onions and cook till it's golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a min. Add mashed tomatoes and cook for two min. Now, add chole masala powder and stirr well...add red chilli...coriander powder, turmeric and salt. Cover and cook in low medium flame for 6-7 min.

When oil seprates out from the gravy, now add soaked chickpeas and mashed potato...mix it very well...add 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 6-7 whistles..or till the chana is cook tender.

Spicey Chole Masala Is ready to... now, garnish with onion rings and lemon wedges and serve hot with fried crispy bhaturas.
