One of the things I love is golden sautéed onions. I wanted to make some sandwiches and decided to bake my own bread for them. I thought these little rolls would be perfect for that.

These rolls are delicious and soft—perfect for serving at dinner or making sandwiches.

I made a few adjustments to the recipe, but kept some of the original step photos. The changes were necessary to improve the final result I got after tweaking it. No, these are not cinnamon rolls! I was thinking of the synonym roll meme and wondered what an antonym roll would be like - this is what I came up with! Looks like a cinnamon roll, is not a cinnamon roll. Still yummy regardless!

Bread rolls were the first kind of bread I ever made. I made these rolls with my favourite dough.When the dough is not stretching well, cover with a tightly wrung out kitchen towel and let it sit for a little while.I used about 1/2 an egg for the dough and the remaining for the glaze. While I was making various stuffed bread, I suddenly felt like having a pizza-type one and came up with this recipe.Once the bread is nicely browned, they are done baking.It's also really good if you use ham instead of bacon.Try topping it with cheese - it's really good!If you're going to eat the bread the next day, wrap it with plastic wrap and microwave it for 30 seconds to warm it up.
