Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsbasmati
  2. 5-6drumsticks
  3. 6 tbspyoghurt
  4. 2large onions
  5. Black pepper corn as required
  6. Cumin seeds as required
  7. 4cardamom pods
  8. 3bay leaves
  9. Other spices
  10. Seasoning
  11. Oil as required

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate drum sticks 2 hours before time with yoghurt, spices and seasoning

    Wash, cook and perboil rice

  3. 3

    In a pot, add oil, onions and cumin seeds

  4. 4

    Stir fry well until it's caramelized

  5. 5

    Take out onions in a bowl and keep aside

  6. 6

    Then add the marinated chicken to the hot oil, with the yoghurt and let it cook

  7. 7

    Take out chicken also, then add half of the rice, pour the juice and arrange the chicken,add seasoning and half of the onion,then cover with the remaining rice,add the onion, seasoning and some tumeric water, cover up and lower the heat to let it cook slowly

    After 10-15mins, serve warm
