Been messing around with this recipe for a good while now. It started out as a KFC clone but has evolved into it's own thing. This is a family favourite that we have once a fortnight. You don't have to poach the chicken before frying but it does improve the texture and taste. Plus it also gives you a chicken stock that you can use to make a gravy. Ive been on a strict diet and became weary of spending money daily for lunch. Found this recipe on pinterest and its delicious and easy. Taste more like kfc with bone in chicken...but use skinless breast for less fat. I recommend using coconut oil spray vs olive oil!

KFC sold dill pickle chicken a couple years back and I made my own. The pickle juice marinade made the chicken so juicy and tender!

I was so amazed at how delicious the Jang Sauce Chicken at KFC was, and I immediately got to recreating the dish. Actually, I was successful with my first try (lol). The key is to add curry powder into the crust ♪You should definitely taste the real thing at KFC!★ I used granulated sugar.★ My gochujang is fairly spicy, but the result won't be too hot since the sugar gives it a sweet flavor. Store didn't have chicken, so I bought the already made chicken chunks and thought to make a kfc bowl. I would have liked to make it all from scratch but meat is hard to come by right now. I will after the virus is over and everything back to normal make this again from scratch.
