This delicious soup is originally from South Indian cuisine , its a product of British Raj in India.It's a chicken vegetable soup spiced with Desi spices. It's curry flavoured. Word mulligutawai means "pepper water" in tamil. There are many variations of recipes. My family likes it so I make it. I am a big fan of chowders, the thick and creamy soups. This winter I tried it with a little twist. I didn't blend the chicken and corn till smooth paste, infact I just ran blender in the soup which left tiny shreds of chicken, and it gave a good taste.I don't like eggs in the sup so I skipped it, if you like, you can add it in the end and cook for 5 mins.

#JoyAs a kid I was not a fan of Yakhni ,I was hate the flavour and fragrance of yakhni . But my mother she insists us to have some sip especially in cold weather or in cold flue,It is really helpful to fight with flue and cold ,Yakhni saved us as we recovered from the fatigue and exhaustion.I make yakhni like my mom style ,she made it mostly for pilao and for soups.#Thanks #Cookpad
