Very Tasty and Versatile

I had avocados that were going to go bad and some homemade tortilla chips that I needed to dip into something! I threw this together with ingredients I had around. And Voila! We ate this with chips and also on mini artisan bread slices! 👏👍👍#onerecipeonetree #guacamole #dip

I was getting tired of getting under-flavored, boring, or just not good guac from the store and HATE paying for special table side guac and being disappointed. This recipe is my solution.

I have 4 HUGE avocado trees in my yard so we have summer as one season and then we have avocado season.

Using a molcajete to create a silky mix of onions, peppers, and garlic makes this guacamole stand apart from the rest.

Bare bones guac. That’s all you really need in life, 3rd only to air and water. Florida avocados are large, lower in fat, and don’t turn brown nearly as fast as hass avocados do. Also, my tree is loaded down so it’s avocados everyday! I use garlic powder because I like convenience and because I always have it and I get a lot of bang for my taste buck. Fresh is great don’t get me wrong but I prefer powdered in this application.
