Ingredients

20 minutes

  1. 200 gmsButton mushrooms chopped
  2. 1medium size onion chopped
  3. 3medium size tomatoes chopped
  4. 1 tspcumin seeds
  5. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  8. 1 tspcoriander powder
  9. 1 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  10. 1 cupor as required water
  11. 3 tbspoil
  12. as per tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a kadai,add cumin seeds to hot oil and let seeds splutter.

    Add onions and saute until onions translucent in colour.

  3. 3

    Now add ginger garlic paste to cooked onions and saute for a minute.

    Add chopped tomatoes and cook until tomatoes turns soft and mushy.

    Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder to tomatoes.
    Mix all the spices well and cook until oil starts to leave the sides of the masala mixture.

    Once oil starts leaving the edges from the sides of masala add chopped mushrooms and peas.

    Mix everything nicely,then add water and salt.Cover the pan and cook for 5-10 minutes or till peas are softened.

    When gravy turns thick and peas are cooked turn off the heat,add garam masala powder and stir well.

    Serve matar mushroom with chapati.
