I first came across this recipe on Saturday Kitchen and of course had to tweak and make my own, I served this with prawns and rice and it was a great for a warm evening. I have seen this Cabbage & Cucumber Salad in many photos that tourists took at restaurants in Ukraine. I tried to recreate it. I have many Coleslaw recipes on this website. I made this salad in a very similar way. I used White Wine Vinegar add Sunflower Oil. I added Dill & Spring Onion as I always see them in the photos. I think I could have added some Garlic as well.

This is simple Korean salad , but so delicious, that even you can eat by it self or as a side dish.

This salad is an appetizer. Crisp fresh radishes and cucumber go together beautifully. And lettuce leaves will provide them with company and good mood.#GlobalApron

There are many restaurants in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital city, but many Japanese tourists recommend a restaurant called ‘Puzata Hata’. They say ‘Puzata Hata’ offers many Ukrainian dishes at very reasonable prices, and it is easy to choose the dishes as you don’t need to worry about language difficulties at all. That sounds really good to me. On the internet, people share the photos of the dishes they ate there. This is the dish that caught my eye. I tried to recreate it.

In hot and humid summer in Japan, we enjoy this salad with cucumber which is abandoned during ghee summer. You can make it in the morning for evening meal. #globalcookpadgames2024

When I serve Watermelon to my family, I always cut the red parts into bite-size pieces, and the white parts (with some pink parts) go to the compost. You know the white parts are actually edible and have similar texture to Cucumber. Today I dressed the white parts and Cucumber with sweet and sour Sesame Dressing. It was delicious. Please remember the outer parts of the white parts are very tough and woody. Use the softer parts, which are actually sweet, so that you need to alter the sweetness of the Sesame Dressing.

I had a bunch of fresh Dill and I needed to use it soon. You can use quite a lot of Dill for this salad. I recommend to cook Potatoes VERY soft, so that you would partially mash them when you are mixing with other ingredients. You can add Ham and Carrot to this salad just like ‘My Family’s Potato Salad’.

A very simple recipe. And the quantities of each ingredient depends on an individual's taste, so you can add more or less of any of the ingredients used.

So quick and simple , tasty too. I put my spin on it by Spiralizing the cucumber. But it's just the same slicing it anyway. Sure is tasty.#Salad.

There are 2 spaghetti salads that I have been repeatedly cooking for decades. One is ‘Spaghetti, Cabbage & Apple Salad’ and the other is this ‘Spaghetti, Cucumber & Tuna Salad’. I always use Canned Tuna in Brine for this salad. If you use Canned Tuna in Water, you need to adjust the amount of Salt.

Just mix potatoes in the microwave! This is a basic recipe with no extra ingredients.
