this is sichuan cuisine, the string beans need deep-fried then stir-fried in the wok, but i omitted the frying step, just dry-fried the string beans for more longer. also very delicious~~

Ingredients

  1. 200 gstring beans
  2. 90 gminced pork
  3. 10 gdried shrimp (optional)
  4. 5 gginger (minced)
  5. 10 ggarlic (minced)
  6. 1/2 tbspsoy sauce
  7. 1/2 tbspchili bean sauce (toban djan)
  8. 1 tsp(crystal) sugar

Cooking Instructions

    Washing and soaking the dried shrimp in cold water for 15 minutes. cut the string beans ends off. then cut it into half. mince dried shrimp, ginger and garlic.

    Heat 2 tbsp oil, add string beans. stir-fry it on high-medium heat for 1 minute.

    Turn down the heat, keep stir-fry string beans until start to shrivel or "pucker" (about 5 minutes). remove string beans from wok.

    Add minced pork, stir-fry until turn white. add dried shrimp, ginger and garlic. stir-fry for 1 minute.

    Add 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp chili bean sauce and 1 tsp sugar. keep stir-fry for 1 minute.

    Add string beans, stir-fry for 30 seconds. then it's done!
