Steps

Fry the onions on medium heat till they brown slightly the add your salt ginger and garlic and stir

Add the blended tomatoes and let them cook for four minutes then stir to form a thick paste

Add in your potatoes, capsicum,cumin seeds,garam masala,pilau masala and turmeric powder then stir and leave to cook for a 2 minutes

Add in your rice and stir for a minute or so, then add the water gently stir,cover and let it cook on high heat for 8minutes then cook on low heat till all the water is evaporated and your rice is fluffy.

Serve as desired with kachumbari or a soup of Your choice
