Steps
- 1
Using a food processor, divide the meat, parsley, and onion into three portions. Blend each portion until well combined, then place all the mixtures in a bowl. Sprinkle with spices and salt, and mix by hand until fully combined. The kofta mixture is now ready.
- 2
Shape the kofta mixture into balls as shown in the picture. Fry them on both sides until browned, then set aside. Lightly fry the potato slices until half-cooked, then set aside.
- 3
Arrange the kofta balls and vegetables neatly in a baking dish as shown in the pictures. Pour the sauce over them, made by mixing 2 cups water, a pinch of mixed spices, salt, and the small can of tomato sauce.
- 4
Cover the dish with aluminum foil, making sure the foil does not touch the ingredients. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C). Remove the foil and broil for 5 minutes to brown the top. Enjoy!
