Michoacán-Style Shrimp Cocktail and Non-Alcoholic Citrus Drink

This is super easy and quick to make. In a bowl, combine the ketchup, Clamato, and orange soda. Stir to mix.

Dice the tomatoes, onion, cucumber, pepper, and half of the avocado. Add them to the bowl with the ketchup mixture. Roughly chop the cilantro and add it as well. Finally, add the shrimp.

Squeeze in the juice of 1 1/2 limes and add salt to taste. Mix all the ingredients together and let sit for 30 minutes so the shrimp can absorb the flavors. (If you want, you can add more ketchup, Clamato, soda, salt, or lime to taste.)

Serve with saltine crackers or tostadas.

With the leftover Clamato, make a drink: In a 14 oz (400 ml) glass, pour in 1/3 glass of Clamato, the juice of 1/2 lime, and a pinch of salt. Add 10 oz (300 ml) grapefruit soda and enjoy.
