Ingredients: 1 cup sour cream(not a fan of yogurt); 1 cup fine diced peeled cucumber; 1 tbsp fresh minced mint; 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill; 2 large garlic cloves pressed; Juice of 1 lemon(or to taste); to taste Salt; 1 lb lean ground beef or lamb; 1 small yellow onion fine diced; 1 medium golden delicious apple fine chopped (wait to chop it before it goes in the beef mixture); 1/2 cup raisins; 2 tbsp curry powder; 1 tbsp brown sugar; to taste Salt; 1 tsp cayenne (optional); 4 tbsp butter; Pack pita, but I use the new half pita pockets

Ingredients

4 servings

1 cupsour cream(not a fan of yogurt)
1 cupfine diced peeled cucumber
1 tbspfresh minced mint
1 tbspfresh chopped dill

1 lblean ground beef or lamb
1small yellow onion fine diced
1medium golden delicious apple fine chopped (wait to chop it before it goes in the beef mixture)
1/2 cupraisins
2 tbspcurry powder
1 tbspbrown sugar
to taste Salt
1 tspcayenne (optional)
4 tbspbutter
Packpita, but I use the new half pita pockets

Steps

Mix the first 7 ingredient and set in the fridge so the flavors marry

Add the onion and ground beef to a skillet until the beef is cooked through. Add the apples, raisin, curry powder, brown sugar, 4 tbsp of butter and salt and cook until the apple are soft
