Ingredients

4-5 servings
  1. 1 lbground beef
  2. 1 lbground lamb
  3. 1 1/2 tspturmeric
  4. 1 tspeach garlic powder, Chile powder, cumin, sea salt
  5. 1/2 tspwhite pepper
  6. .5 ozchopped cilantro
  7. .5 ozchopped fresh mint leaves
  8. Hummus
  9. Thin sliced shallots
  10. Thin sliced tomato
  11. Crumbled goat cheese
  12. Pita flatbread or naan bread

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix meat, spices, cilantro, and mint in a lg mixing bowl. Form into thin long patties. Grill over charcoal until cooked.

  2. 2

    In a hot dry pan cook bread on each side until warm and soft.

  3. 3

    Spread plenty of hummus on bread. Top with shallot, tomato, and goat cheese. Serve immediately. Enjoy.

cooking is a passion of mine. I started when I was very young and I had to drag a milk crate around to see over the counter. taught by a career cook (my grandmother ). I have always tried to push the boundaries of conventional cooking. I prefer cooking wild game. when I can get my hands on it, but fish is more readily available for me. I raise and butcher most of the livestock that I use for my conventional recipes. I hope everyone can find a few recipes they like in my list.
