In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, salt and 2 tsp oil. Mix well.

Knead it to a smooth and soft dough by adding water as needed. Cover and let it rest till filling is made.

Heat oil in a pan. Add in onion, green chilli and saute lightly. Add ginger, garlic and mix well. Next add mushroom, turmeic powder, chilli powder and salt. Keep cooking till mushroom is done. Keep it aside.

Now take the dough and divide into equal balls. Take two balls and roll it out to make paratha.

Place mushroom filling over one paratha and cover with other. Seal and roll this out properly. Make all the parathas in similar way.

Heat a griddle/tawa on medium flame. Put the rolled paratha on it. Toast each side with 1/2 tsp oil until light golden brown spots appear on both sides. Toast all the parathas likewise.

Serve delicious mushroom paratha hot with any side items, curd or pickle.
