Very easy and simple recipe. Just follow one important step of continuous stirring of milk on low flame. There are many short cut methods but this one gives best taste. Using only milk and sugar we can prepare this easy sweet for festivals.
Steps

Heat milk on medium flame in a heavy bottomed pan.

Once boiled lower flame to low and stir continuously.

Slowly milk will thicken and keep scraping the cream that forms in the sides of the pan.

Include the cream from sides into the pan. Keep mixing well always on low flame.

Once the milk thickens and come to a semi-watery consistency, add sugar dissolve well.

Once the milk and sugar thickens nicely it will start to separate from the pan and come together.

At this stage check the consistency. You should be able to scoop it with a spoon easily without sticking.

Remove from pan and serve hot immediately or pour into a greased pan and cut into desired shapes.

Palkova is usually eaten as such without any garnishing. But if desired you can garnish with nuts and kesar strands.
