Ingredients

20 minutes
6 servings
  • 250 gramsPaneer ( homemade or readymade fresh)
  • 50 gramssugar powder or 1/2 bowl or per taste
  • 1/2 bowlMilk powder
  • Pinchfood colour orange or yellow or instead use kesar strands
  • as requiredElaichi seeds
  • 1 tspAny essence or your choice rose or kevra
  • as requiredSlivered almonds and pistachios

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Squeeze homemade paneer and if using readymade grate it.Now mash it.

  2. 2

    Heat a non stick pan add paneer cook till thicken.

  3. 3

    Add sugar milk powder food colour with elaichi seeds let it cook till mix all the ingredients and mixture leaves the sides of a pan.

  4. 4

    While cooking keep stirring on low heat it will take hardly 5 to 8 mins off the flame add essence too
    Let the mixture cool completely.

  5. 5

    It will be crumbled and you feel granules in it again mash it to make a soft dough just for few mins.

  6. 6

    Grease your palms with ghee or oil to make small balls with pressing in the middle with your thumb
    Garnish with nuts ready to serve.

  7. 7

    For rose flavour added 2 tablespoons chopped rose petals with 1 tsp rose water instead kesar threads. Rest followed the same recipe.
