Instapot Cold Start yogurt
My children love yogurt and it can get expensive so I have started making my own!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined
- 2
Divide liquid in to Mason jars (some people like to cover the lid with foil to avoid condensation...I never had an issue)
- 3
Put triviet and 1 cup of water into bottom of instapot
- 4
Stack Mason jars in instapot place on lid or glass lid (no pressure is used so glass lid is okay!)
- 5
Select yogurt function. Set time any where from 8-12 hours. The longer the time the more tang. 9 hours is my perfect time!
- 6
When done place lids on jars and in fridge to cool completely
- 7
Top with fruit or granola and enjoy

Crockpot Greek Yogurt Crockpot Greek Yogurt
Two recipes in one. To make yogurt just drain it for an hrs after it’s done. For Greek yogurt, drain it in the refrigerator overnight. There is no sugar or fruits added, can add all that stuff later as needed, I didn’t want my big batch to be just one flavor, I wanted to use it For different things, like (To make a flavor batch just get the flavor yogurt with live culture, like vanilla for example )for cooking, so it’s all plain . I made yogurt and I took the other half and made Greek yogurt. If you don’t want a big batch I put that in here too. When making this , do not peek at it, or remove lid at anytime. The only time this lid comes off is the step where you add the starter yogurt and that’s it, I can’t stress this enough as it will not work if that lid comes off , even for a sneak peek and you wasted all that time. There is nothing to making just time. If you have other people in the house when this is being made, make sure everyone knows not to touch it , or remove that lid, or the towel in that last step, if you have to put a do not touch note on it. I watched 3 videos on how to do this before i attempted this , I will put them in the notes below for anyone who wants a better understanding before trying this. I highly recommend watching them , the first one is about 8 mins the other one is 19 mins long. 🌈NinjaMommaKitchen🌈 -

Simple Yogurt Ice Cream Simple Yogurt Ice Cream
I've been making this dish for a long time to use up heavy cream, yogurt, and jam.I used homemade orange jam.Enjoy with strawberry jam, apple jam, or any type of jam.The sweetness of the jam differs depending on the brand, so adjust the flavor after tasting. When it's frozen, it's hard to taste the sweetness. If you want to make it sweet, add slightly more jam. You might think it's too much at that time, but it will taste perfect once it's frozen. Of course, you can also reduce the sweetness. Recipe by Ayako cookpad.japan -
Yogurt soup Yogurt soup
Hey there!!! How is everyone doing? I am fine having fun with my friend this week, sightseeing and just catching up on things. Tammy a couple of days ago decided that she was going to cook a Yogurt Soup Recipe from her native country Georgia (not the US), I was quite surprised to hear that a Yogurt Soup recipe even existed. 🙂 When she finished making the soup it was time to taste it. I was curious…very curious, I took the first sip and guess what!!! it was a delicious surprise, it reminded of the Greek Egg Sauce that we use in our Greek Chicken Soup. 🙂At first when she mentioned that she was going to be cooking Yogurt Soup I was a bit hesitant, but then I thought it would be a new taste, it has Yogurt in it so I have to give it a try. It is such a light soup and from what she told me this is a great option if you are on a diet. This is why I love cooking and baking, you learn about so many beautiful recipes that exist in other cultures, and it is always a wonderful surprise. 🙂Today, is her last day before she heads back home tomorrow, I have to admit I am sad and happy at the same time, it was great having her here and we had a fantastic time together visiting Museums, Amsterdam, and many other places. 🙂 Foodzesty -

The Fastest Strained Yogurt The Fastest Strained Yogurt
Strained yogurt takes time, but I wanted to use it right away. With this method, it's done in no time. You'll have strained yogurt in just a little over an hour.None really. You won't notice the flavor of the salt at all. You won't have any problems using this yogurt for cooking or making desserts.
