#GlobalApron 2024 challenge week 29 ingredient; horseradish. The after effects of Covid left me without sense of taste and smell for a year. I would get frustrated and determined to find something I could taste . I saw my jar of fresh horseradish and thought if I could smell or taste anything maybe it would be horseradish. I got a teaspoon of it and wow I could taste and smell and the best part was it tasted and smelled like it should.

A quick and simple way to make Horseradish Sauce. Now if you have horseradish root, you would peel the outer skin and grate the white part and mix with vinegar and salt. Be very careful. The longer you wait to mix, the stronger the horseradish will be. This recipe, will use prepared horseradish though.

Great sauce for steaks, burgers or other darks meats. Used in my steak and eggs sandwich.
