Chole masala or chickpeas masala

Soak chickpeas for 7 hrs than boiled with water,and add clove, cinnamon,and cardamon till 5 wristlet

Take a pan add oil than cumin seeds,bay leaf,onion,garlic, Ginger and green chilli

After 15 min add turmeric powder and salt

After that add tomato puree,

Add spices - garam masala, coriander powder,chana masala(any brand),red chilli powder

Add hing(Asafoetida)

Cook 10 minutes in med flame than add water if required.

Add chickpeas in masala,mix well cook 15 minutes in medium flame and add half cup of water..

Add desi ghee..Chickpeas masala is ready to eat.serve hot with rice,roti,bhature,kulche.

You can eat as a chat just add lemon and chopped onion like shown in picture.
