Cut the potatoes in lenghtwise and keep in water.

In a kadai take finely chopped onions, crushed garlic, ginger, chilli, haldi powder, red chilli powder, coriander and oil and mix everything well. Then add poatoes and mix well.

Then keep this on gas and add 1 cup of water and cover and cook till potatoes are soft. Ur yummy potatoes are ready. Serve with roti or dal rice.
