Soak rice in water for 30 minutes. Then grind in a mixer grinder and make coarse paste.

In a vessel keep milk to boil. Keep stirring in between. When it comes to boil, low the flame and add prepared rice paste. Stir continuously. Slowly it thickens. Add rose syrup according to your taste. Mix well. Add chopped cashew nuts. Mix well. Cook to get desired consistency. Cool down at room temperature and then put it in the fridge for 2 hours. Enjoy chill rose phirni. Garnish with cashew nuts and cherry.
